Description: The film tells the story of a simple and honest policeman Duraisingam alias Singam (suriya), a suab-inspector in Nallur in Tuticorin district. He wants to run the family business - running a provision shop and convert it to a large departmental store. But his father (Radha Ravi) fantasize him to become a cop. He lives up to his dad's words and become a sub-inspector of the local police station. An amiable family, Singam life at peace with everyone. Naturally, their family is respected a lot in the village. Opens Kavya (Anushka), on a holiday to the village to her grandparents' house. She comes across Singam and his upright way and just naturally attracts her. The Intrigue between the two.
