Netflix, a company whose huge red billboards are annoying computer users for some time, been informed of the existence of on-demand movies.
Shocked that a person can simply click a remote control to pay for and watch a movie, the company has realized that consumers expect to pay to have DVDs mailed to them and then remembering to mail them back is not a credible business plan.
Originally, spokesman for Netflix was resistant, says: "What do you think, movies on demand? Never heard of them."
But when the remarkable procedure was demonstrated to him, he surrenders and in fact said: "Well, I will be. Why did not anyone tell me about it before I took this job?"
