Tata Nano Car goes into Flames in Mumbai

Breaking News! The Tata Motors received a major jolt, as another Tata Nano car caught fire minutes after it was delivered to a customer in Mumbai. It was the fourth case of fires reported from Tata Nano cars. Satish Sawant, an insurance broker, who bought the car, said that the car caught fire, while he was driving. A motorcycle rider overtook him and informed about the fire, much to his shock and surprise.
The first three cases of fire were attributed to a faulty switch placed near the steering wheel. However, the exact cause of the latest fire is not immediately known.
Satish Swant spent Rs 2.4 lakh on the silver Nano car. The car had an A/C and a power steering. He bought the Nano from Concorde Motors showroom in Prabhadevi. A case has been registered with the Navghar Police (Mulund East).
