Description: From 1399 till independence ie. 1947 Wodeyar dynasty ruled the kingdom of Mysore. Queen Kempananjammanni Vanivilasa Sanndihana, commissioned a British architect, Henry Irwin, to build this place in 1897.He completed this by 1912.One of the best place to visit. Septemper end, will in early October is the right time to visit. Dasara festival will be celebrated each year during this period.
