Mouth Watering Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipes!

Chocolate chip cookies are a source of comfort food not only for children but for adults. I mean, who does not love the good old chocolate chip cookies? They have always been a staple in our household and even the adults can not get enough of these much loved treat.

Here are 2 beautiful and delicious chocolate chip recipes that you and your children will surely love. Enjoy!

Chocolate Chip, Pecan and Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients:

8 tablespoons unsalted butter at room temperature
3 / 4 cup sugar
1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1.5 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 / 2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 / 4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 / 8 teaspoon ground cloves
1 cup quick-cooking oats
2 cups pecans, chopped
2 teaspoons freshly grated orange peel
12 ounce semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 ° F. Line a large baking paper with parchment or a Slat (nonstick baking mat). Using an electric mixer, beat butter in a bowl until it is light and airy.

Then add both sugars, salt and vanilla and beat until well mixed, about three minutes. Stir in eggs, 1 after another. Sift together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves in a separate bowl.

Then add half of your flour mixture into butter with mixer on low speed. When the flour has been incorporated, add the other half. Stir in oats, pecans, orange peel, chocolate and crisps.

Drop dough by tablespoon, out on baking paper then bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden.Remove from your oven then cool the cookies on a rack. Store at room temperature in a cookie jar or other airtight container.

Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

2 1 / 3 cups all purpose flour
1 / 2 teaspoon baking powder
8 ounce unsalted butter at room temperature
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 / 3 cup granulated sugar
1 small teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 large egg yolk
1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with a silicone liner or spray with baking spray.

Combine the flour, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl.

In a bowl with electric mixer, sugar, cream, butter together until light & fluffy. Beat in eggs, egg yolk and vanilla.

Slowly beat in flour mixture until blended. Fold in Chocolate chip. Use a spoon or cookie scoop, drop dough on a baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between cookies.

Bake for 9 to 12 minutes or until slightly browned and set in the middle
