Maki Mono Sushi is another type of sushi. Rather than having toppings, but the filling, then roll into the vinegared rice and nor with the use of a special bamboo mat. The resulting tube is delicious cut into thick slabs. Well loved make mono sushi fillings are tuna, crab, avocado, cucumber, carrot tops and mayonnaise with a little wassail paste. Also considered as a variant of make mono sushi is teak. To make teak, a large sheet of nor is formed into a cone measuring about four inches long, contains a mixture of vinegary rice and fillings.
