How To Ramp Up Your Business With Sizzling Ad Copy

How to Ramp Up Your Business With Sizzling Ad Text

Common errors in business ad text:

* Features are not benefits

* Too much hype

* Misuse of graphics

* Use of negative trigger words

* Font hard to read

The most common error in the ad text, listing features not benefits. Your visitors do not need to know how fancy product, they are just looking for the answer to "what does it mean for me?” Why should they buy your product or use your service? You'll have to convince them that the benefits to them is irresistible and would be severely missed if they do not buy your product / use your service.

Here is one of the most annoying of all bugs, hyping up your product / service. Nobody likes being played for a fool than of all your potential customers. Unbelievable exaggeration (hype) does just that. It insults the intelligence of your reader and will alienate them very quickly from the sale. Would you buy from someone who treated you like that? Besides, if your product is good, you have enough real benefit not to need any useless hype.

Graphics, be careful with these. Less relevant images can go a long way to help sell your product, especially if you sell hard goods, e-books. Some sites try to use cartoon graphics and other eye catchers, this may divert your visitor and take away from your sales message. Again, this may reduce the prestige of your site. Presentation is very important to a corporate site.Your visitors need to take you seriously to buy from you, they need to know you are a professional. Presentation in your ad text is especially important if you offer a service.

Here are a more subtle errors, and one who is not with some careful planning and knowledge needs to be done. The use of negative "trigger words." If you have been on the Internet for some time, you will have heard about "Mr. Fire Joe Vitale, a legendary copywriter and article writer. Joe Vitale is the master of the use of "trigger words" and subtle "Hypnotic Selling." What is the "trigger words?" These are words that subconsciously trigger a feeling of wellbeing and a desire to buy into a reader. For example, the "ramp up" your business ... "Boost" your business by using this ... "Discover the secret ".... I'm sure you've seen these and many more (over 200) When you've looked at good sales pages.

Alternatively, negative "trigger words" will have the opposite effect, for example, "low income" fiasco "and many more, as you probably can think of. These words create an unconscious feeling of depression and sadness with a reader and deter him from buying. You can not buy more when you're in an optimistic mood? Be careful how you write your sales letter or even a small ad, words are very powerful in copy writing and will make or break the sale. Like all good copywriters will tell you that selling is about understanding your visitors' mindsets.

Readable font, incorporating the use of punctuation, capitalization and color scheme. Let me explain:

Excessive use of punctuation, especially! exclamation point and sometimes?? questioned. It distracts the reader and is a turn off for sale. Respect your reader's intelligence and not belittle your reader with this unprofessional technique.

For very large letters is also unprofessional and has the same effect. Capitalization is known to shout a word. Have you readers want to be yelled at? I am sure that this does not put you in buying mood.

Color combination is also a sign of being a good seller. Always write with credibility in mind. As mentioned credibility is very important to convince your potential buyer. Unusual fonts and color combinations will take away from your sales copy and leave a bad impression with your reader.Size is a factor, make sure the font is normal size. Style font should be Arial, Times Roman, Veranda, or similar formats that do not make a sales letter in fancy type, it will distract your reader (who sells art work and cartoon drawings may be an exception to the rule).

Always keep your reader in mind. Write your sales letters as you would a respected friend.Remember your visitors take time out of their busy schedule to read your sales letter, write in a concise, persuasive, courteous manner as you would expect to be treated by a vendor when you want to buy something. With these points you will be able to ramp up your business with sizzling ad copy and increase your sales 110% and more.
