Installation preparations: 1.1 - Acclimatization of panels that before starting the installation, the floor has to be brought into the room where it will be installed or in a room with the same climatic condition. The acclimation will be made as follows: in sealed unopened boxes for a period of at least 24 hours on surfaces with at least 50 cm distance to the wall at a temperature of at least 18 ° C at a floor surface temperature of a least 15 ° C at a relative humidity between 40% and 65%
Installation direction; flooring looks its best when the floorboards are installed in parallel with the light coming in through the windows. It only required the installation direction, if you install hardwood flooring boards. In this case you must install the floor in a 90 degree angle to the existing hardwood boards or using a hardboard or plywood sub floor.
Planning the first series; After determining the best layout of flooring and the starting wall, measure the width of the space and divide it by the width of the floor boards to determine the number of rows and width of the last row. If the last row is determined to be less than 60mm wide, it must be adapted by cutting the first row lengthwise.
Planning the expansion holes; Because laminate floors are made of organic material, it is subject to certain movement behavior (shrinkage / expansion) due to changes in climate conditions. It is necessary to leave holes at 10mm for expansion in all parts of the structure, ie walls, door frames, stairs, around pipes.
Planning the transition lists; through shrinkage and expansion behavior flooring, install transition moldings in the following areas: All passenger doors on all crossings single length and / or with more than 10 meters (33 feet)
Installation process:
Check all panels for any damage / defects. Make sure you understand the difference between the tongue and groove on the panel. To install the first row from the left corner of the room with both sides of the tongue panels pointing toward the wall. Place spacers between the edge of the floorboards and the wall to give the proper space for expansion.
Connect the other panel to the first indirect tapped with a hammer and push the block, thereby connecting the boards' headers. Mark the last panel in the first row to the desired length (place tongue to tongue) and sliced. Start the second row with cut off from the last panel of the first row. Always cut off is at least 500 mm long, if not then cut a piece that is larger than 500 mm long. Run all subsequent rows with the off cut piece from previous row. Connect the other series to the first by placing the interlocking end of the new panel at an angle to the previously installed panel, and then lowering to a horizontal position to lock so indirectly tapped with a hammer and push the block and thereby join the boards "headers.
Attention! A floor is considered level if the deviation height is less than 2mm over a distance of 2.5 linear meters. Deviations above this level must be straightened out before the ground.
Expansion gaps and expected movements with laminate flooring, it is imperative that all floors must have an expansion gap of 10mm around the entire perimeter of the floor and all fixed points in the installation. Without this precaution, the floor will move, and have nowhere to go also. This can cause extreme levels of pressure pushing upwards and outwards so as to lift floor coverings.
