Security breach at Delhi airport

Two cases of criminal trespass were reported at Indira Gandhi International Airport here over the weekend. Fazar Mohmmad (65) entered the high-security airport premises by scaling the boundary wall near Gate No. 24 around 10 p.m. on Saturday. He was caught immediately by Central Industrial Security Force personnel.
During preliminary questioning, Fazar purportedly claimed that he wanted to go on a Haj pilgrimage and had been requesting his relatives to take him there. Finally, he allegedly decided to board a Saudi Arabia-bound plane by illegally entering the IGI airport. Afzal, who was handed over to the airport police, has been booked for criminal trespass.
Investigations revealed that he hails from Nuh in Haryana and a team has been dispatched there to verify his disclosures.
In the second case, Uday Raj Chauhan (28), a native of Hardoi in Uttar Pradesh, managed to enter the airport's technical area by scaling the boundary wall in the early hours of Saturday. He then entered the apron through the funnel area where he was spotted by Indian Airlines security and CISF personnel.
“The incident took place around 4-45 a.m.,” said a CISF officer. He has been arrested. During questioning, he purportedly disclosed that he wanted to board an Air India flight to Dubai. While investigations in both the cases are being carried out by the airport police, the CISF has started reviewing airport security to identify gap areas.
