DOT's threat to ban Chinese Phones

Department of Telecommunications (DoT), telecom service providers with a closed door meeting, from entering the country have threatened to ban Chinese telecom equipment. Telecommunications companies say a couple of vendors because of the monopoly costs of response will roll out its network. Government's intention to $ 500 billion worth of equipment imported from China may scuttle.
