Japanese Green Tea - A Look at Each Type

Grown in Japan since the 12th century when the Buddhist monk Esai brought green tea from China to grow and experiment, is Japanese green tea is now considered to be perhaps the best in the world. - Your Tea is actually the rarest of Japanese green teas. Considered the finest, it is also quite expensive, which is the result of growing these tea leaves in the shade of a higher chlorophyll levels. This tea gives you a sweet beverage with low caffeine content.

- Match tea is high in antioxidants. And you can experience its full richness, because it is made from ground your leaves, you drink the whole leaves, rather than just tea water.

- Banta Tea is considered the lowest grade of Japanese green tea as it is made with the second flush of Stench leaves, which are older and courser. However, it does offer an inexpensive alternative with a woody taste. Two varieties: Haitian and Grenache.
