Sneaky Ways To Be Natural And Healthy At Kids Parties

Children's parties can sometimes cause a few cringe at a parent who does their best to live more sustainable and naturally, with minimal exposure to artificial colors, flavors, fragrances, etc. You can not do much about lots of other parents attach and who your kids are invited, but you can ensure that your children's birthday parties are less likely to leave children with sugar highs and goes bananas from orange fruit color, etc.

Now, you probably will end up with a little food coloring and sugar - it is a party, after all, and they do not happen every day or even every week, so you can be a little imperfect - but you can keep these imperfections at a minimum . Order a professional domestic cleaning take place while you are preparing food.

The idea for party food must have something that can be eaten with the fingers and is a little bit different than what is shown every day on your dinner plate. And remember that dark chocolate is so full of vitamins and minerals, it is almost a multivitamin pill.

If you have a large number of (what were you thinking??) And the need to use disposable plates, use paper to them. They decompose in compost.

* Air popped popcorn is a whole grain and low fat but is very popular as a party food. Season with a little salt.

* Cherry tomatoes

* All fresh fruits or vegetables that can be cut into a van-dyke pattern

* Fresh fruit dipped in dark chocolate. Poke a popsicle stick up a (peeled!) Banana, dunk it thoroughly in the melted chocolate and freeze.

* Raw or blanched vegetables with a dip. The dip is sour cream, guacamole (probably quit garlic and chili to small children) or hummus.

* Mixed nuts, dried fruit, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and chocolate buttons.

* Garlic Bread - make your own with olive oil and real garlic.

* Chicken wings or nibbles served cold

* Home-ice. You do not need a fancy maker to do so. Just use an egg beater and whip some cream. Pipes in some sugar or honey. Then whip in some berries or bananas (blackcurrant turning ice a nice dark shade of pink) or a dash of natural vanilla essence or some chocolate chips or a bit of peppermint tea, plus some mint leaves chopped up, or some raisins and brandy essence. Shove it in the freezer for about 8 hours before the party. Check it every hour or so and stir it with a fork to ensure it does not become a solid lump.

* Candy apples

* Fresh pineapple slices or even sliced oranges. Common but surprisingly popular.

* Cheese into cubes or wedges.

You will probably make the cake itself, which means you'll be using whole meal flour, brown sugar, real fruit, real vanilla and minimal artificial bits and pieces. However, you will probably want to crack and put some color into the icing. But you can also add some real lemon juice for lemon flavored icing that will help to save your conscience and taste scummy. Decorate how you want, given that not all the decorations to be edible. For a little girl's party looks edible flowers (especially miniature roses, pansies and violets - spray-free, of course) beautiful.

For drinks, probably you will not be able to avoid showering thing entirely, but plain lemonade mixed with other things with horror to a minimum. Avoid diet drinks - that fake sweetener is worse than sugar for you (unless you have a diabetic child or parents involved - in this case, compromise, and remind yourself that it does not happen every day). Mix lemonade with other things to do punch. Drinks are very often wasted on a carpeted floor, but household products is not as effective as a professional carpet cleaning.

Orange juice, lemonade and cold tea is a good standby for party punch, but you can also have a go with other herbal teas mixed with lemonade - strong peppermint tea is nice and mint. And do not forget to include lots of ice cubes and garnish of mint and / or lemon. Shaped ice is often a good novelty factor.
