Why do many excursions better for children to learn? Well if you think back to your childhood, what days you remember better? Was it the days when you take a field trip at school or days when you sat at the desk and read a book? Like most of us remember our days when we went on field trips or taking family trips. Your children will too.
To get the most educational experience out of a field trip? Before going on a field trip you would like to give a few lessons on things they will see or experience that they want. If you want a historic place to have them research about what happened many years ago, so when they come to the place they want to understand more about why this is a special place.
When going on a field trip with your kids, you will want to give them notebooks to write notes, or papers that you have written a series of questions so they can answer them while they are there. Give them a cheap digital camera so they can take pictures of things they see there. When you get home, you can reinforce lessons about the place you went to get them to print some of the photos they took and have them do a little memory book about adventure, so they can remember the years of adventure.
Home schooling field trips are a great way to enjoy stuff with your kids and make it a learning experience. Your children will benefit from spending time with you and learning at the same time. They will learn better and retain what they have learned when they experience it hands on.
When home schooling always take as many trips as you can and start creating learning memoirs as a family is a part of home schooling, you do not want to miss before tours the best part of learning.
