Life in Chennai city is very cool and pleasant perhaps because I had been in this place from my childhood. Chennai, formerly known as
Over the decades, Chennai continued his pride as the capital of Tamil Nadu - the rich heritage of Dravidian culture, a growing metropolitan city that has many industries and multinational companies and a city that boasts traditional agraharams standing beside of many high rise apartments.
Chennai city has two faces, and each of them are special in their own way, on the one hand, one can still enjoy sipping hot filter coffee and listen to the sweet melodic music Suprabhatam and on the other, you can visit the coolest pubs and multiplexes
Many traditional activities take place in Chennai on daily basis. At the first break of light, women in the house cleaning their houses and decorate with Kolas (patterns on the floor) made with rice powder. The idea behind rice powders is that they want to start their day by doing a good deed by feeding the ants and insects early in the morning.
Away from scampering city life is a beautiful pond surrounded by a walkway that acts as paradise walker. This place in Pommel is a best place for runners and walkers every morning and evening. What's better than taking a walk in natural surroundings?
Another great attraction is the

Still problem concerns in many parts of the city. Well, you're lucky if you live in a apartment because you would not learn of the water challenges facing the city. The tanker comes and fills up in the community tank. My heart goes out to people living in independent houses. For them the only option is to carry water from the water tanker to the respective houses. The water quality is not very good, and consumers are struggling to simply survive in the city. They denied their consumer rights and complaints as a consumer have no pulse in the government.
But there is another sad fate to be finally mentioned. The city does not have a proper disposal site for garbage. Each day nearly 3,000 tones of waste are generated from Chennai. All garbage collected and dumped in Pronged dumping yard and Kodungaiyur dump yard in north Chennai. It's really sad to see the children work as rag-pickers in the dump. There are more than 30 children found in garbage yards as they salvage plastic and other materials for resale. Most of the kids have never been to school. A hard day's work retrieves each of them hardly ten to twenty rupees.
Another thing is people in
