Obesity in Women

The issue of size is of particular concern, especially for women, because most people believe that physical attractiveness and beauty is dependent on having a slender body that reveals shapeliness of a woman's body. As such, it is not common for people to think of great women as unattractive. Indeed, obesity in most societies, a large body size, obesity, and factors that do not agree with the concept of beauty. After all, in as much as "slim" is considered to be attractive, not overweight, in accordance with beauty.

What causes women to be obese?

1) Because of bodily changes. When a woman has her period, there are hormonal changes that occur in her body. These changes can get her to respond to some form of presence of food. Moreover, because there are various unpleasant experiences, which you may feel because of hormonal changes, eating sometimes becomes the only release of tension available to women. Because of this, it is not surprising to think that women who are unable to cope with menstrual problems on weight.

2) Because of peer pressure or social pressure. Women who live in communities where there is tension or chaos or fast-paced is always looking for a way that will help them cope with such pressure. Unfortunately, for most, the easiest and most convenient way to express disappointment and frustration is about to eat.

3) Due to genetic factors. There are some women who can quickly grow in size. This is because obesity has been found to run in certain families. Because of this, women with a family history of obesity should be more careful when it comes to food consumption.

Effects of Obesity in women

1) An overweight woman suffering emotionally from the condition. Most of those who have weight problems and obesity tend to have a bad score by itself, resulting in a deterioration of their self-esteem. This is really bad, because when a woman thinks of herself as poor, there is usually no motivation for her to try to maintain a healthy figure.

2) Health risks are common. An obese woman is at the mercy of cholesterol accumulation. Because of this, is heart disease a reality.

3) In addition, kidney and liver problems are a threat for obese women.

4) Obese people generally have a poor ability to metabolise sugar. As a result, sugar accumulates in the blood, which can cause diabetes. When someone contacts diabetes, there are various complications that can eventually can suffer.

Along with the above effects of obesity and overweight, a woman who is overweight will have to spend a lot of money for treatments. In some cases, treatment in the form of advice or through an examination of one's personal standards. But if the problem is not addressed through counseling, the condition may require to go through medical treatments that are expensive and lengthy. As a result, obesity not only pose a risk to health, the condition can also be a burden to her feelings, and their budget.
