Red Shirt supporters demonstrating in the Thai

The number of Red Shirt supporters demonstrating in the Thai capital appears to have shrunk dramatically as the group prepares to spill blood on the steps of parliament.
The group's leaders are still shouting that they will force prime minister Abhisit Vejjajiva to resign, but not as many people are listening.
For the past two days about 100,000 Red Shirts have demonstrated in Bangkok in support of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, but that number has shrunk by about two-thirds.
Thousands of supporters have lined up to donate their blood though, which will be thrown on the steps of government house when the group marches on parliament shortly.
The blood is being drawn in makeshift tents.
In a queasy spectacle, the blood is pushed from syringes into large bottles.
If the government continues to refuse to resign, the Red Shirts say they will take more donations and throw blood at the prime minister's house tomorrow.
