Is everything in your life goes the way you want? Putting it another way, if you dead five (5) years from now, without the provision of a second thing between now and then would you be satisfied?
What about those people hang with you in your usual group of?
Most likely, the answer would be a resounding "No!"
Fast forward five (5) years. How many of these people, do you think would be doing things differently then compared with the way they do them today?
I do not know the answer but I bet yourself as the reader will guess pretty close to mine, and it is not many.
Here's the real question ... Would YOU be one of those people?
Of course there are some people who break this mold. We see successful people. Several of them have decent jobs in their work. Others can be leaders in our community. Sometimes we see people on the news and these people make us smile. Although many of the best sports players experiencing a form of success.
What are some things that these people have in common? What are they doing differently than the common (and less successful) person?
I'm not going to discuss them all here but I will focus on one of the big things.
With whom do you use most of your time? Are any of these people already know where you want to be? Are any of them to take steps to get there, if not already there?
Why is this important?
What types of things do you use you time to discuss with people? Are you talking about ways to improve yourself? Are you talking about the ways that you experiment to learn something new?
If you're like most people you talk about the economy - and how it sucks. You are not talking about how you can benefit from the economic slowdown. (For example, many things cheaper - much cheaper.)
If you use a lot of time talking about sports? Yes, they are fun. I know too much about too many sports. I've noticed that games that seemed very important five (5) years ago, does not seem nearly as important today. Yesterday's stories have been replaced by today.
So what happened to the time that I spent discussing and thinking about the game years ago? J
That's right. It is gone. This time went without me building something for me to make me better.
Do people in your group makes you feel better about yourself? If yes, how? Do you get to laugh at other people's expense, or helps you understand yourself better. Do they make you aware of what a loser you are, or do they know good things about yourself that you had trouble seeing on your own?
I am not suggesting that you ditch all your friends. , I am simply suggesting that you evaluate whether you want to include some people who make you feel good - for the right reasons.
Successful people are to find people to teach. They also find people to teach them. They also find peers to learn alongside them. In fact, they are always learning, often from each other.
