
Samsung has announced the launch of its most recent touchscreen phone, the Jet 2 in India. The Jet 2 is the successor of Jet that was launched during 2009. Mobile fans have been looking forward to this phone and expect substantial upgrades from the Jet. There are no hardware changes in the Jet 2 from its predecessor. There are few software tweaks. The features include a 3.1 inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen and TouchWiz 2.0. The phone is high on multimedia with DNSe & SRS Sound Effect technology. It has a 5 MP camera that is capable of taking good pictures.
Multitasking is one of the possibilities in the Jet 2. The user interface is better than the Jet. Jet 2 is powered by a 800MHz processor. Connectivity options are Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. GPS navigation is available in the handset. The phone uses Dolphin, the browser of Samsung. You can also install Opera Mini or any other Java based browser of your choice. The phone will sell at Rs19,500.
