Volvo Recharge Concept is an interesting innovation that ensures the long drives will never be the same as before. Volvo cars are specially designed a plug-in hybrid with an electric motor at each wheel and batteries recharged each day via an electrical outlet. • The energy generated during braking is redirected back to the battery

The combustion engine starts automatically when 70 percent of the battery is consumed. However, the driver can also manually activate the engine via a button on the dashboard.
