Summer is approaching, with lots of potential for fun resorts. Northern Arizona has many breathtaking beautiful places like the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Navajo Nation, Hopi Mesas, and the Wild West town of Williams, Arizona.
Images can not be compared to seeing the Grand Canyon in person. There are many ways to see it. Visitors can on the flight in an airplane or helicopter tour. Hikers can wander down the trails or ride a mule down and up again. Visitors can camp at the top and / or day trips. Brave visitors can go on the Sky Walk, a half circle path glass hanging over the Grand Canyon, so visitors can see far below their feet.
Lake Powell is a great place with miles of slot canyons, beaches and water to explore. Go to Lake Powell by plane or houseboat and further explore by canoe, jet ski or small boats. With varying water levels and its sheer size, Lake Powell is a different experience every time you return. 2010 marks 100 years with Centennial Rainbow Bridge Rainbow Bridge is a National Monument. It is one of the largest natural bridge in the world.
The Navajo Nation to its name, with 27,000 square miles and the largest reservation in America. The Navajo Nation is a fascinating culture, art, history and beautiful views. People can see historic rock paintings, ruins, and national monuments, such as Canyon de Chilly and Navajo National Monument in Monument Valley.
Hopi has a hotel near Tuba City, Arizona called Moe kopi Legacy Inn and Suites. From there you can tour the villages and Hopi country. Hopi is one of the oldest continuously inhabited places in North America, dating to 900 AD
Williams is the gateway to the Grand Canyon and the last Wild West town in the southwest. Look around and you'll cowboys and friendly people on the historic Route 66 to see Though modern, clean accommodation, you know you're in a mountain village. Take the Grand Canyon Railway from Williams to Grand Canyon, look, it's a wild ride!
