Make friends with your freezer and discover how.

We all need quick dinner recipes and 30 minutes meals are at the top of the list. But we also want nutritious, tasty, low-cal, low-crab meals ... NOW! Does this sound familiar? And as much as we all love the idea of a homemade beef stew or a delicious homemade meatball recipe, more often than not, there's just no time to produce the kind of food after we rushed from work, school or the transportation of children.

But make friends with your freezer, and this may be possible.

Freeze plenty of onions.

When you have a chance, chop a lot of onions. I often have 12 large onions at a time. Pour a little oil in a large pan and fry onions until they soften and take on a deep caramel color. You may find it easier to do this in two pots. Cool onions and then transfer amount to the freezer containers. I want to transfer the amount equal to 1:59 onion for each container. Label each container and then freeze.

Now you are able to have some fun. You want to make one of these best ground beef recipes? No problem. You are already halfway there. While your meat is browning, simply defrost the onion and then add them together with the other ingredients. You have the beginning of chili con carne, a beef and noodle casserole or minced beef goulash.

Freeze bread crumbs and egg whites

No, I have not lost the plot! If you have leftover bread crumbs, just pop them into a freezer container, label them and freeze them. Next time you want to whiz up meatballs or touching a piece of fish that have the job done for you already.

The same applies to whites. They freeze very well for a couple months. Put leftover egg whites in a container and mark how many there are "three egg whites." Next time you feel inspired to whip up meringue or egg whites needed an icing bag recipe, all you have to do is thaw them on low in microwave oven, and you're set.

Freeze batches of a basic Béchamel Sauce recipe

Make a big batch of your favorite Bechamel Sauce recipe. I have often triple the usual amount. Again, decant into freezer containers and trademark. You now have the basis for a wide range of dishes, from your best baked macaroni cheese recipe for baked fish in a sauce. You can add simple ingredients to make a pasta sauce or you can add Bechamel sauce for a lasagna or MouseKey. But the main thing is that some of the work already done, making it very profitable to have a nutritious meal on the table in a relatively quick time.

Double up your recipes

This seems almost a no-brainer, but it is worth being reminded. To make a batch of your favorite Beef Curry recipe has two - one for now and one for the freezer. Apply the same rules for all stews, simple ground beef recipes and even chicken casseroles. Most of these dishes are friendly and will freeze well. I love nothing more than to pull out a nutritious meal from the freezer on those stressful days. I also know that there are no preservatives, additives and dyes in food that I have frozen. Plus, my freezer meal has cost something in the supermarket equivalent and always tastes better.

Organize your freezer

Try to be disciplined, how you pack your freezer. Try to put the finished meal on the same shelf or in the same drawer. Similarly, frozen raw go together. Put "small chunks" together - egg whites, frozen chopped fresh herbs, leftover sauces and so on.

A particularly useful shelf of our freezer is packed lunch shelf. This drawer is all make for healthy lunchboxes. There are remaining chicken that is frozen between layers of wax paper. There are cooked burgers or ham. There are wraps, croissants or muffins. This means that when we make lunchboxes night it is easy for the whole family to get involved and hone in on the right drawer. It seems to simplify things, and it is certainly cheaper than take-out food.

Organize your freezer labels, pens, etc.

Have a set place in your kitchen where you keep your freezer containers. Stack them logically by size and application. Nearby, have a drawer that keeps your freezer labels, marking pens, plastic bags, waxed paper and freeze tag. This means that it is not an onerous task fired a label on your container and you'll never wonder what mysterious frozen nuggets in the freezer again!

So when you take responsibility for specific areas of your life, take responsibility for your freezer! Provides easy healthy recipes will suddenly become a pleasure. With a little care and simple meal planning, you can save time, money and your senses!
